The Machottes estate celebrates its 20th anniversary!

Our estate of gîtes and guest rooms in Provence is already celebrating its 20th anniversary! In 2002, we opened our first rental "Le relais du coche" and today we are proud to be able to offer 3 gites and 3 bedrooms to our guests. Thank you to all our customers and welcome to future travelers!

The Domaine des Machottes classified Natura2000 area

The Domaine des Machottes is classified among the European Natura2000 areas! These zones allow the classification of natural sites sheltering an exceptional fauna and flora. With the aim of protecting biodiversity, they represent 13% of French territory. 

While staying at the Domaine des Machottes, you will undoubtedly have the opportunity, depending on the season, to enjoy the song of the cicadas and that of the birds, to contemplate the grazing sheep, to see foxes, to discover moles, hares, and other types of wild animals. You can also discover a varied flora in summer colors and enjoy the richness of the orchards.

So balance reigns at the Domaine des Machottes.

A good harvest!

This year again, our olive trees have spoiled us... After an afternoon of harvesting, head to the Grans oil mill. They will take care of transforming our olives into oil. Located in the heart of the village, the mill of Grans is the last mill of Grans still in activity. The work of the olives is done in the old way, using millstones and presses. For years, the locals have been bringing their harvests for a collaborative purpose. We are looking forward to our bottle of Made in Machottes olive oil!

Sophrology and Hypnosis at the Domaine

Violaine Warin also practices sophrology and hypnosis. Group or individual workshops, for young or old, in sophro or hypno, there is something for everyone. Welcome your inner emotions in the Sophro-Parc, a natural area of 1000m2 equipped for all our sophronisers!

The team is growing!

We are delighted to introduce Ariane Derain, our development manager for the coming year. His goal ? Make you love the Domaine des Machottes!  

Creative, organized and ambitious, Ariane has future plans for the development of the domain. Graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Kedge Business School and at the end of her master's degree at ESG and a graphic design certificate at EDAA, she now puts her skills at the service of our customers. < /p>
